As a former President of the California Association of Legal Support Professionals, and a Ca. Process Server for almost 30 years I am truly sorry for what happened to Mr. Bauer. However, I feel I must point out that the majority of process servers are professional, responsible and honest. I am encouraged by the "conversations" that are taking place but I urge everyone to remember that a minority of bad apples should not reflect badly on the majority of good, honest, hard working process servers who are vital to the furtherance of justice and due process in the U.S. legal system.
