At Jurat Legal, we are used to serving evictions- Most of the time, serving evictions can be pretty cut and dry. But today was a bit different. It started almost a month ago when I received a call from a Landlord telling me that his Tenant owed him over $1,300. On the very first try I was able to serve her with the 3 day notice to pay rent or quit.. I figured after the 3 day notice, should would and that would be that. Well about 2 weeks went by and the Landlord emailed me and stated that he wanted to hire Jurat Legal Solutions to to do evictions. After filling out all the paperwork and filing it with the court, it was then time to serve the Tenant. However, she already knew what I looked like, and of course, when I came to her house, she didnt answer the door. After several tries, today, I managed to go to her work and Serve her personally.

I obviously wish this Woman the best of luck, but we also need to realize that the Landlord can go deep into debt when the Renter does not pay.
